- Visual Shape: Two rings with balls between inner and outer raceways, often shielded or sealed.
- Common Types: Open, ZZ/2Z shielded, 2RS/DDU sealed, C3 clearance, stainless and miniature versions.
- Common Markings: 60xx, 62xx, 63xx, 68xx, 69xx, ZZ, 2RS, C3 and similar suffixes.
- Measurement Check: Measure ID, OD and width. Confirm shield/seal type and internal clearance.
- Do Not Confuse With: Angular contact bearings, which can look similar but are directional.
